Talaromyces marneffei is a type of thermally dimorphic fungus which is common in south east asia and can cause Talaromycosis and mostly affects pepole with weakend immune system. it causes fungal invasions on multipale organ systems mostly blood, bone marrow, skin, lungs, and reticuloendothelial tissues, and is highly fatal. this disease is found predominantly in AIDS patients and occasionally those with cell-mediated immunodeficiencies. in the past five years there were only 37 recorded cases of none aids patients of Talaromycosis. some symptoms include Fever General discomfort, Weight loss, Cough or shortness of breath, Swollen lymph, nodes, liver or spleen, Diarrhea and Abdominal pain.
